During the final crit, it was suggested that the A1 poster and all elements of the project have clear titles so that it is clear what it is about and what each part is meant for. Here I was looking at type variations for the posters title. Mainly looking at simple faces to try and keep consistency in the design.
I really like the constrast between Bold faces and light faces, Helvetica Neue gave a good sample for both, with a bold and ultra-light variation of the font.
I went with a regular helvetica bold for the main title, and helvetica neue ultra-light for the accompanying text, which worked well at this scale, however I had problems with legibility when using the light face on a smaller scale.
