Form ~ writing : Font 1 - Sketches

First ideas on paper, defining features and lowercase ideas, incorporating various accents to lowercase

Development on initial sketches. Incorporating a curve, and working with defining features to create a coherent feel to the whole face. Curve on the cross bar of the A developed from the idea of the cut off at the top along with the lowering of the cross bar, to create as much white space as possible and therefore a more legible face, due to its derision from road signage.

Initial character development, trying to create a coherent typeface. 

Proposed character set and few initial developments 

 The larger characters - variations on W and possibly M

 Numeral set and lowercase 'a' and 'e'

 Mostly completed uppercase, marked off as vectored in illustrator.
