Following this experimentation with a number of fonts that I had looked at as being important within design and used liberally by designers throughout their history, I had to choose the fonts that I would base my exhibtion upon.
Those I settled on as being both relevant historically to the
exhibition and visually appealing were:
Serifs.
Sans Serifs
However I had a dilemna with the choice of the last sans serif face. All equally historically relevant however visually I couldn't decide between them. Below are examples of the fonts in question, both with and without the phonetic visuals applied.
Eventually I went for Din, I felt this was visually the most interesting and asking a few classmates yielded the same results.
