We had the sudden realisation that Inpress would almost definitely need numbers for the production of the promotional material of their event, which is where the first real world application of this font will be. So we got together and fairly quickly worked with the characters we already have to produce these numbers.
Much the same with the creation of most of the characters there are a lot of subtleties in the numbers that until you'd started to design them yourself, you'd never notice. Above are the final numerals as a set along with some set with grid lines showing where the subtleties in the characters are.
