SF 2013 - Cover artwork.

 Berlin holocaust memorial

Simply line traced over a photograph of the memorial in Berlin above, Don't this one works as well as it could. Theres a lot of detail but no real depth and the image lacks a difference in tone that the example underneath provides.

These are much more abtsract examples of the Berlin holocaust memorial which take one face of each of the blocks, meaning that none of the shapes themselves join to anything, they are like floating blocks. But because of the perspective of this image it provides  really interesting effect.

New York Statue of Liberty

Unsure about what to do with this statue of liberty vector as the line drawing seems too sparse, however once one of the parts of the design is filled in then it stands out from the rest. this may well look better embossed as the difference in tone won't be as prominent.
Think this one above works quite well, however again there are certain parts, like in the crease on raised arm, where it seems too prominent to be part of the same line.

Rio De Janeiro Christ the redeemer.

Success of this one I think is dependent very much on the crop of the image, removing the head will make it much too difficult to tell what it is, howvever having large gaps around will mean that the space isn't being utilised and the emboss may be mostly lost under the wrap for the covers.

London Tower Bridge  (unfinished)

The beginnings of a vector of tower bridge in London, has taken a long time up to this point and I think it may be a little too complex overall to keep on going with it. although it would have been interesting to see the finished product I think the time it would take and the effect that the emboss would actually have would make it not worth continuing with.
